Preparing Your Gymnast
Presenting to the world its next top gymnast is not easy. It requires a dedication of time that starts from childhood onwards. A gymnast should start young when the bones and body are pliable and when forms and techniques are easy to learn and practice. Thus, at the age of at least two years old, some parents begin signing up their kids in basic gymnastic classes. One can see from the list of Olympic medal winners in gymnastics that the best way to create a champion athlete is by making sure that the potential champion is nurtured and immersed in the sport as early as possible in life.
